Juan Marcos Rougès has extensive experience in tax and customs law, with a particular focus on corporate reorganizations, transfer pricing, customs valuation, and litigation. He has been a partner in our firm since 2017, where he leads the Customs and Foreign Trade practice. With over 15 years of experience, he also works in tax litigation, covering all areas of national, provincial, and municipal taxation.
He combines his professional practice with significant academic activity. He is the author of numerous publications and a regular professor of “Public Finance and Tax Law” at the University of Buenos Aires. Additionally, he is a visiting professor for the Master’s in Tax Law at Austral University and the Academic Coordinator of the Online Course on Transfer Pricing in Latin America (Introductory and Advanced) offered at that university.
Due to his outstanding performance in tax litigation, he has been recognized as a leader in this field in specialized publications such as International Tax Review (“Tax Controversy Leaders,” Argentina, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022).
